Ranger Trailer Fender Issues

I decided two days ago that I was going to take some time off from Fishing and get some long standing issues fixed with the Z Boat.

I have had a consistent issue with the side bunk boards on this trailer for three years.  Ranger used Rivets to attach the bunks to the fenders and those Rivets simply do not hold up.  The heads end up breaking off and then the bunk board starts flapping all over.  Two weeks ago, I decided it was time to give the Z boat a good wash, and started scrubbing.  When I wiped the fenders I noticed that they were both loose from the trailer frame.  It appears the fiberglass surrounding the bold has broken away and will require some repairs.  Call into Ranger boats and a new set of Fenders is in the $1800 price range.  I will be ordering the fenders at some point, but for now I want to get this fixed.

I have the port side fender removed from the frame and have started the process of fixing the bunk boards.  The Fender repairs will also include removing all the rubber step matting and replacing with new,  I will also be attempting to correct the fiberglass issues.
