We should talk about buttered sausages.

Miss my daughter, have not seen her in a while. Time to make a trip out to spend some time with her.
Just another day
Today is my 53rd birthday, yea fun.
As I pound away on my keyboard with my team, I wonder what the real meaning of life is about. Pretty simple really. Why is it so hard for me to grasp this simple reality?
Dogs. Man’s best friend!
If you have them, you will understand.
Sometimes the fruit…
My mother turned 82 years old today. The boys face-timed her and played a violin duet of her favorite song. She loved it.
This has been a very busy week with today starting off with a bang! Sometimes, the stress of work leaves me rattled. However, I have the best group of employees that a guy could ever have. The support of my team is just unbelievably amazing. Most bosses would give a leg for the guys that work with me.
Today I learned another lesson. Sometimes the fruit is hidden in the tree and you have to peel back the leaves to find it. I am starting to wonder if what I thought was always so important is really just what causes me the most suffering.
Sitting in front of this keyboard for hours on end really gives some perspective on things.
New Radio for Muck!
I love my 2021 Tundra more than any vehicle I’ve ever owned. Maybe because it was affordable and the quality is top-notch. Yes, no leather or heated seats or anything like that; I did not need to remortgage my home to buy a new truck! I was lucky to purchase it for $3K under the sticker. It’s just a solid vehicle made in America! The Tundra has more American-made parts than any other truck on the market. My truck was born in Texas!
The new radio install took me about 45 minutes, and wow, what a fantastic unit. It is based on Android 10, and so far, my only complaint is the screen is a bit glossy, so I have ordered a matte screen protector for it.
If you are interested in replacing the radio in your ride, here is the link for this unit.
Time to forgive and move on…
In the summer of 2020, after consulting with my dear wife, I decided to take a break from my own life and help someone with theirs. I feel great satisfaction in the outcome of that choice. However, some of the dangling chads that came with it have been very hard to deal with and understand. The past two months have been some of the most challenging times of my adult life. I learned quite a bit about myself and finally came to grips with what true friendship entails.
As things stand now, I am back to my full-time self-employment, spending more time than ever with my boys, and finally understanding what is essential in life.
This blog used to have tens of thousands of followers; I am sorry I deleted the content and decided to stop blogging. I will start talking to myself again here and will do my best to update this place.
I appreciate the support from all my real friends and family. Thank you for helping me get my life back on track.
